Sources and licences

• Texas TDLR: laser hair removal facility licence file.
• Connecticut DPH (data.ct.gov), Illinois IDFPR (data.illinois.gov) and Delaware DPR (data.delaware.gov): electrologist licence data. We show name, credential, licence status and city only.
• North Dakota HHS: statewide licensed electrologist inventory (business name and address).
• Canadian electrolysis associations: member lists published by FCEA Ontario Chapter, the Canadian Organization of Professional Electrologists, the Saskatchewan Electrologists' Association, the Atlantic Association of Professional Electrologists, TAPEBC and APESEQ (Quebec). Membership is a credential the association reports, not a government licence. For members listed without a business name we show the city only.
• Clinic websites: services, laser type, who performs treatments, skin types, consultation fees, prices and booking links, each with the page URL and the date we read it.
• OpenStreetMap (© OpenStreetMap contributors, ODbL): clinic names and street addresses used as leads. A clinic is listed only when its own website shows the same street number and describes the services we list.

Map data © OpenStreetMap contributors, available under the Open Database License (ODbL). These pages are a produced work from that data. If we publish the underlying OSM-derived database, we will release it under the ODbL. The details we gathered ourselves are kept as a separate dataset.

How we check details

We read the operator's own page, write a short factual summary in our own words, and store the URL and the date we read it. We don't copy text or photos.
